The Supply Chain Recruiter provides vital support to the organization through cultivating and maintaining our talent pipeline. You will be responsible for sourcing both active and passive candidates for open career roles across all divisions within Sonwil Logistics, including professional drivers, logistics operations, customer success, finance, and business development team members. The ideal Supply Chain candidate is an ambitious self-starter and an energetic team player with the confidence to make judgements and recommendations about critical decisions, independently. Note: Remote working arrangements are not possible for this role.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with leadership on all aspects of hiring strategy and retention, including ideal candidate profiles, job descriptions, job postings, and role cards
Champion culture and values of the entire Sonwil enterprise, and represent Sonwil Logistics in an exciting and positive light to all stakeholders in the hiring process
Own and manage the hiring process, including candidate prospecting, maintaining applicant records, scheduling and conducting interviews, and creating and distributing offers of employment
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, human resources, or related field
1-3 years of recruiting experience, preferred
Two (2) years’ experience in a third-party (3PL) brokerage environment, preferred
Excellent planning, organizational, and written skills
Strong verbal reasoning skills and persuasive communication ability
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and sourcing avenues
Working knowledge of NYS and Federal employment regulations and laws
Desire to grow professionally and create growth internally at a fast-growing company
